Extended Benefits
For all extended benefits questions please contact your specific provider and see if acupuncture is covered to begin with. Also it is advantageous to ask if you need a acupuncture referral from a Medical Doctor, some require this, some do not.
We are licensed BC practitioners from the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Association (CTCMA) which is governed by the BC Ministry of Health. We provide a license number that providers need in order to process the refund. Each provider is a little different though.
Generally we accept payment and provide a receipt with our license number. Then the compensation is between the patient and the provider. As each provider is a little different and as you may have guessed it, their rules are always changing. We have found it simplest this way in the past.
However, direct billing is available on a case by case basis, please call and ask us if this is your situation. In the past we have handled Veteran affairs, Blue Cross etc.

Cancellation Policy
We certainly understand that sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule your appointments and there are emergencies and life happens!
In order to be respectful of the health needs of the community please be courteous and kindly call the clinic at least 24 hours prior if you are unable to attend an appointment so that someone else urgently needing a treatment can be seen at that time.
To cancel your appointments please call 604-524-3145. If you do not reach us, you may leave a detailed message on the voice mail. Answering machine is on 24 hours a day.
There is no charge if your appointment is canceled 24 hours in advance. Appointments missed or canceled without 24-hour notification will be charged a Missed Appointment Fee. Missed Appointment Fee : $40.00
